Entering the Vietnam market from 2023, Smilegate Vietnam‘s mission is to provide stable development & operation of the Smilegate platform and services, expanding beyond the development center to the region and expanding into an Asian hub.
What You‘ll Do

Conduct exploratory and user acceptance testing to validate the software meets business and user requirements.
Create and manage test documentation, including test plans, strategies, traceability metrics, test reports, and defect reports with risk assessments.
Regularly update the test lead on progress and testing status.
Identify, report, and track defects effectively, working closely with development teams for timely resolution.
Utilize AI- driven tools and methodologies to optimize testing processes and improve efficiency.
Identify test scenarios, estimate test effort, and create test plans.
Perform functional, regression, performance, usability, and end- to- end testing for new releases and change requests.
Analyze user scenarios to proactively identify potential issues and recommend enhancements for an improved user experience.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as stand- ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Support automation initiatives by working closely with the automation team to enhance regression test coverage.
Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases / test scripts to ensure product quality and compliance with requirements.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including developers, product managers, and automation engineers, to drive continuous improvement in software quality.
Continuously research and propose improvements in QA processes, tools, and best practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Fluent in Vietnamese
Strong communication and collaboration skills, working closely with developers, product managers, and designers.
Ability to quickly learn new domains, business processes, and complex systems.
Ability to perform under high- pressure situations and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Deep understanding of web, mobile, and desktop application testing.
Proven expertise in manual testing, including requirement analysis, test strategy, test planning, and test execution using techniques such as black- box, risk- based, exploratory, non- UI, API, and accessibility testing.
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the QA role within an Agile environment.
Hands- on experience with testing tools and methodologies, including Jira, Confluence, SQL databases, Postman, TestRail, DataDog, Sentry, Grafana, and similar platforms.
Passion for continuous quality improvement, including deployment, security, stability, and performance.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple competing tasks effectively.
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance (QA) or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem- solving skills, with the ability to assess risks, analyze system impacts, and solve ambiguous problems effectively.
