Manual QC Lead

ABOUT THE JOB
• Identify and report software defects, track their status, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough test coverage
• Continuously improve test processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness
• Conduct manual functional, regression, integration, and system testing to identify defects and ensure product stability
• Lead and manage a team of manual testers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
• Perform test estimation, test effort estimation, and test progress tracking to meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and development teams to understand project requirements and define test objectives
• Provide regular status reports on testing progress, test coverage, and defect metrics to project stakeholders
• Coordinate and prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and resource availability
• Mentor and train team members on manual testing techniques, best practices, and industry standards

ABOUT YOU
• Experience in functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• ISTQB certification or equivalent qualification in software testing is a plus
• Bachelor&039;s degree in Information Technology or related field
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross- functional teams
• Excellent problem- solving and debugging skills with attention to detail
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, processes, and best practices
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proven experience as a Manual Test Lead or similar role, with a track record of successfully leading and managing manual testing projects
