Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high- quality software. You will be responsible for testing software manually, identifying bugs, and working closely with the development team to resolve issue
Responsibilities:
Conduct functional, usability, and regression testing.
Manage Linux administration tasks, including troubleshooting system issues.
Participate in test planning, risk analysis, and test case reviews
Execute and document test results, identifying any defects or areas of improvement.
Utilize networking knowledge (IP address configuration, DNS, DHCP) to test and resolve networking issues.
Collaborate with the development team to debug and troubleshoot software issues.
Perform manual testing of applications to ensure quality standards.
Define test cases for both positive and negative scenarios based on system requirements.
Maintain and update test documentation and defect reports.
Required skills/Experience:
Strong understanding of Linux administration and ability to troubleshoot system issues.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Excellent knowledge of networking concepts, including IP addresses, DNS, and DHCP.
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Proven experience in manual testing, test case creation, and execution.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Strong attention to detail and problem- solving abilities.
Years of experiences: >1 YoE
