Manual Tester (Junior/Middle)

ABOUT THE JOB:

Support in vendor management as per Procurement & HR protocols and procedures for QE resources including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, invoicing administration.
Actively participate in scrum activities and meeting discussions, including sprint planning, daily stand- up, and retrospective.
Support improvement initiatives to continuously improve capabilities, productivity, and efficiency of the Quality Engineering function.
Provide overall department support for governance and communication.
Support the cultural switch from Waterfall SDLC to Agile.
Engage in discussions with the development, business, and testing teams to understand requirements and enhancements to be delivered.
Prepare testing status reports and closely collaborate with business users.
Support the timely delivery and implementation of strategic initiatives and business- as- usual (BAU) enhancements as requested by the business.
Monitoring of performance, KPI management and support quality reviews.
Support of knowledge management to facilitate sharing knowledge.
Track outstanding defects and collaborate with the Scrum team to resolve issues promptly within the agreed timeline.
Bridge the gap between business requirements and user acceptance tests.
Proactively seek continuous improvement in test coverage and execution.

ABOUT YOU:

Exposure to Waterfall and Agile testing process.
Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and techniques, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
Strong understanding of manual testing tools such as functional testing, performance testing, API Testing, etc.
Ability to create and maintain manual test cases and test plans for software testing.
Experience with tools like JIRA , JIRA- Xray , Cucumber, Confluence, Sharepoint.
Familiarity with manual testing tools and frameworks to support manual testing efforts.
Experience with automation test is a plus.
At least 2 years in manual testing of software applications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Good command of English to collaborate with team and stakeholder.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical fields.
Working experience preferably in the insurance or financial industry.
