Manufacturing Execution Systems Operation Specialist (20 Headcounts)

POSITION PURPOSE:
Reporting to the MES Operation Team Leader, the MES operation specialist will work closely in a team to provide real-time MES support to the business.
Therefore, the successful candidate will require a working knowledge in IT system support as well as demonstrated experience in MES systems.
The initial focus is to deliver excellent services to business users.
ORGANIZATION CHART:
- Receiving report from: none
- Report to: MES Operation Team Leader
RESPONSIBILITIES AREA
- Enhancements / Automation: Identify repetitive tasks/recurring issues and work with the Development team to look at options for automation/process improvement
- Deployment Tasks: Test and deploy new packages into Production Environment
- Project Work: Assist and coordinate various ongoing projects to ensure delivery is achieved on time: Perform System configuration, support hardware installation and business education.
- User Support: Provide Manufacturing Execution System support on the shopfloor.
- Business Integration: Work with key business users to understand issues and constraints in the environment
- Training/Documentation: Provide end-user training/education on how to use MES systems
- Incident Analysis: Understand and define the Impact and Severity of the issue and determine the best course of action and appropriate incident escalation.

Education/ Professional knowledge:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Skill, Experience:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in Information Technology
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in providing Application Support
- Proficient in English, written and verbal
- Experience in user engagement
Other requirements (if need):
- Excellent in SQL Tool.
- Development skills are beneficial: C, HTML5, Angular…
- SCADA/PLC experience is beneficial
- MES Experience is beneficial
