Objectives:
Driving profitable bunker trading through strategic management of back- to- back marine fuel sales.
Constantly expanding customer base and supplier network.
Utilizing market intelligence and operational excellence to secure competitive pricing, ensure seamless deliveries, and maximize customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Marine Fuel Trading:
Accurately document all trade activities, including payment tracking.
Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and monthly sales targets set by the company.
Monitor daily MOPS and Platts assessments to stay abreast of Brent market movements and price trends
Execute back- to- back bunker trading transactions for marine fuels and lubricants, ensuring maximum profitability and compliance with company standards.
Collaborate with the trading team to secure reliable sourcing and maintain smooth operational flow
Client & Supplier Development:
Apply knowledge of global shipping markets and port networks to assist clients in planning bunkering strategies that minimize deviation and reduce costs.
Deliver professional, solution- oriented support to clients, ensuring high satisfaction and long- term partnerships.
Develop and strengthen relationships with shipowners, operators, charterers, and suppliers to expand the customer base and enhance market presence.
Risk Management:
Ensure timely collection of payments for all transactions and monitor financial risks effectively.
Handle claims, disputes and after- sales service efficiently to maintain strong client satisfaction and operational integrity.
Requirements:
Ability to work efficiently in a fast- paced environment and make well- informed decisions.
Proficiency in English (IELTS ≥ 7.0 or equivalent certification is a plus).
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
Highly responsive, detail- oriented, and able to work under pressure.
3- 5 years of experience in bunker trading, shipping, or a similar field.
