Marketing Associate, PR & Communication

We&039;re looking for a Marketing Associate, PR & Communication who will play a crucial role in this mission. This individual will lead PR and communication campaigns, manage media relations, support events and conferences, and elevate the personal branding of our team.
Key Responsibilities:

Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media, analysts, and industry commentators. Proactively pitch stories, provide research insights, and coordinate interviews to ensure our firm&039;s story is well- represented. Provide timely and accurate responses to breaking news, ensuring our firm is a reliable source of information.
Event and Conference Support: Coordinate and support events and conferences to showcase our expertise and achievements
Media Monitoring: Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
PR and Communication Campaigns: Develop and execute comprehensive PR and communication strategies that enhance our firm&039;s reputation and visibility.

Media Network: Strong existing relationships with media, analysts, and industry commentators.
Proficiency: Proficiency in using PR and communication tools and platforms.
Industry Experience: 3- 5 years of experience in PR, communications, or a related role.
Educational Background: Bachelor&039;s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field (optional). We value the true experience rather than the degree.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
Journalistic Insight: Deep understanding of journalists&039; needs, from proactive story pitches to responsive communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant Experience: Experience working in a venture capital firm or technology startup.
Personal Branding: Demonstrated ability to elevate personal branding for senior executives.
Industry Trends: Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in PR and communications.
