PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE
- The marketing (communication) manager handles the full scope of marketing topics in the marketing department.
- The person is a strong multi-tasker, works very efficient and self-organized. She/he develops (in accord with the DOSM) the annual marketing communication plan and in on top of the implementation and follow up. The person manages assigned projects individually until successful completion. The marketing manager handles topics and task on his/her own but also has experience in leading and monitoring a team to guarantee timely results. A top organization and wide vision is important in all forward planning.
- This position includes strategic planning but requires also to be hands-on with a positive mind-set, understanding of responsibility and leadership function.
Marketing Management
•Develop (in liaison with supervisors), implement and monitor the annual marketing plan and ensure its implementation inclusive of a good forward planning
•Develop the digital marketing plan as part of the overall strategic planning
•Manage and monitor the marketing team and suppliers for any marketing topic to achieve results on time and in quality.
•Online and Digital Marketing: Website management with own involvement if necessary
•Planning and monitoring of all online (Newsletter, social media, blog, web content, etc).
•Liaise with media to develop public relations and PR activities further (on- and offline) including their measuring
•Concept, planning, budgeting and carry out of assigned marketing projects
•Monitor the market and brand and provide forward and strategic ideas on a continuous development and improvement.
•Conduct analysis and provide reports to measure ROI
•Controls budgets and is on top of actual expenses
•Develop the team further if required
•Weekly and Monthly marketing recording and reporting
Project Management
•Manage, support and / or implement ongoing marketing projects:
-Website / CRM / Online & Digital Marketing Plan
-Product Development
-Collateral design from concept to final production
-Others upon assignment
People Management: Experience in lead and manage a marketing team. Assign, coordinate and monitor people.
Reporting
Responsible of reporting key marketing figures in dashboards
Monthly consolidated marketing reports
Continuous Improvement
•Identify areas for continual improvement across the marketing (between sale and marketing)
•Attend training courses / seminars if needed, maintain social contacts with PR people and the networking

Yêu cầu công việc

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
•Tertiary studies in Tourism, Hospitality or Business
•Certificate in Management (preferable)
•Knowledge of tourism, geography, foreign cultures
•Knowledge of the hospitality industry
•Understands all aspects and needs branding and corporate design
•Additional marketing Certificate is an advantage (online marketing, branding, print or desk top publishing)
EXPERIENCE
•Minimum 5 years marketing experience in the above mentioned areas
•Very good knowledge in all areas of the marketing, especially digital areas (website, online marketing, social media etc)
•Very good experience in marketing communication from idea, concept to detailed organization (proven record)
•Very good understanding of luxury (travel) needs and products
•Experience in designing collaterals
•Top organized and structured
•Good understanding of sales channels and marketing distribution
SKILLS
•Excellent - Written and spoken English (preferably Native)
•Creative with an open, fresh mind. Highly communicative with great interpersonal skills
•Driven by commitment and conviction
•Talented to organizing, overseeing and follow up
•Able to think in concepts and cross-functional
•Very good knowledge of design and production
•Good knowledge of design program (Adobe creative Suite) and marketing and design language/terms
•Able to prioritize topics and stress resistant
•Can make clear decision based on facts & figures
•Good - MS Office (Excel, Word, Power point etc)
