BASIC FUNCTION
The incumbent will maintain, manage, and update all collateral assets for hotel, adhering to all brand communication guidelines and standards. Oversee property web pages and maintain hotel’s presence in the social media space to include updates, recommendations for changes and enhancements to content. Coordinate all public relations and promotional activities that support the needs of hotel with a focus on improved revenue performance. This will include media tours, photo shoot, broadcasts, interviews, and other specific events that require personal attention. Forge local partnerships and review opportunities for local level promotions and sponsorships to gain recognition and beneficial status within the community.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
8 Maintains good public relations by extending personalized services such as accepting and following up reservations for VIPs, inviting media to luncheon and other activities or functions and assisting in greeting VIPs and groups upon their arrival.
9 Accepts customer and media complaints, requests, and inquiries; coordinates with departments concerned in handling of same.
5 Informs other departments of activities within and outside the hotel and of other information which may be useful in dealing with guests.
10 Finalizes comprehensive designs and other artwork, etc. prepared by Public Relations personnel.
12 Analyses sales mix and likely impact on hotel goals.
13 Execute advertising/creative briefs in a timely manner.
6 Acts as hotel&039;s liaison with media to promote good publicity and counteract bad publicity.
4 Prepares annual Public Relations goals and budget, in cooperation with Sales develops working plans to carry out goals; compares actual achievements against goals periodically; takes necessary corrective action.
15 Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs.
14 Coordinates activities with Director of Sales and Food & Beverage Manager.
11 Develops ideas for designs of posters, backdrops, etc and guides work of artist. Supervises and directs photographers commissioned to take pictures of VIPS, shows, etc.
2 Prepares promotional press releases on personalities among guests and employees of, and newsworthy affairs in, the hotel.
3 Prepares brochures, monthly hotel newsletter and other promotional material.
16 Manage brand compliance for the hotel to grow the equity of the hotel and outlet brands and the brand equity across all channels.
17 Ensure all visual and written communication (internal/external, offline/online) is fully aligned with the hotels positioning and brand.
7 Coordinates with hotel&039;s advertising agency in planning and implementing promotional activities, advertising campaigns, etc.
18 Other duties will be assigned by Management.
