The Corporate FX Sales Specialist is responsible for originating, developing, and maintaining relationships with corporate clients to provide comprehensive foreign exchange solutions. This role involves understanding clients&039; FX exposure and risk management needs, offering tailored products (spot, forwards, options, swaps), and delivering exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FX markets, strong sales acumen, and the ability to articulate complex financial products in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients&039; FX needs, providing market insights and product solutions.
Identify and target new corporate clients for FX business.
Build and maintain strong, long- term relationships with existing corporate clients.
Sales and Business Development:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including trading, research, legal, compliance, and product teams, to deliver integrated solutions.
Structure and propose appropriate FX products (spot, forwards, swaps) to meet client objectives.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Prepare and present compelling proposals, presentations, and market updates to clients.
Proactively engage clients to understand their FX exposures, hedging strategies, and payment requirements.
Market Analysis and Advisory:
Educate clients on various FX instruments and their applications.
Stay informed on global economic trends, central bank policies, and geopolitical events impacting currency markets.
Provide market commentary, analysis, and strategic advice to clients on FX movements and risk management.
Risk and Compliance:
Ensure all client activities and transactions adhere to regulatory guidelines and internal compliance policies.
Maintain accurate client records and sales pipeline information.
Understand and explain the risks associated with various FX products to clients.
Cross- functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other sales teams (e.g., Treasury Sales, Corporate Banking) to identify cross- selling opportunities.
Knowledge/Experience:
Experience managing limited resources that are requested to offer outstanding results.
Experience in finance and processes administration.
Language: English- Proficient in both speaking & writing
Project administration and background in operational areas.
Prior knowledge in the Banking industry experience, especially in the Markets business products, is preferred.
