Master Data Management Specialist Asia

JOB PURPOSE:

Master Data specialist for business’s core applications, gathering Information, functional demands and needs within business units or departments; provide analytical and technical support to a business through the development of innovative programs and solutions.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
MASTER DATA GOVERNANCE :

Responsible for Data Requirement Specification set- up, review and sign- off: scope include objects & systems, data object ownership matrix
Processes and Policies needed to implement Master Data Governance

* Result:

Master data document management: clean, up to date, consistency and integrity

MASTER DATA ANALYSIS:

Support for functional design and validation of the mapping, include transformation, harmonization rules with business.
Data analysis in Excel using Pivot and other analytical tools/functions

* Result:

Data quality analysis report/ dashboard
Gap analysis for master data: system design vs business requirement
Report for Data Insight

MASTER DATA OPERATION:

Support Master Data maintenance activity in ERP and other systems
Supports Data Migration activity in upload file preparation and carries- out data quality check before load

* Result:

Master data is maintained in system follow well control procedure.
High quality Master data for business operation.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION:

Participate in the development, implementation of Enterprise application for Asia BUs, including Feed and Value Chain

* Result:

Responsible for MDM part in Enterprise application implementation projects

QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or closely related field is required or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXPERIENCES:

Experience in working/analysing with primary and comprehensive processes within business unit or knowledge of cross- function tasks, processes and information needs
Knowledge of or oversight on business and some technology trends
Experience with Portfolio, program, and project management (comfortable with Agile is an advantage)
