ME Engineer/ Senior Engineer (NPD/ Process optimize) - Cu Chi (Having Shuttle Bus)

JOB SUMMARY

ME Project Engineer/ Senior Engineer is responsible for leading and executing manufacturing engineering projects to improve production efficiency, product quality, and cost- effectiveness. This role involves working closely with cross- functional teams to support new product development (NPD), process optimization, and the development of robust manufacturing solutions for outdoor equipment and tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

- Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues and provide solutions to enhance production reliability.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, especially for durable, weather- resistant products.
- Development (NPD) and ensure a smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation techniques to enhance efficiency.
- Conduct process analysis, time studies, and failure mode analysis (FMEA) to identify and implement improvements.
- Equipment, Gauge, and Fixture design for manufacturing outdoor products.
- Lead and manage manufacturing projects related to outdoor products, from prototype to mass production.
- Work closely with NPI, IE, production, quality, and US teams to support New Product
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring cost- effective production.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for outdoor power tools
- Work with suppliers and vendors to design high- quality equipment/machines/fixtures.

- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and best practices.

Functional Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing processsimulation tools.
Other Abilities
Experience: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in electronic products
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
Ability to travel to suppliers, factories, or field sites as needed.
Strong problem- solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting production challenges.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Good communication in English.
