Mechanical Design Engineer

Review & verify DFM / Tooling designs from Tool Maker to ensure compliance with Customer&039;s and Friwo&039;s standards, Product requirements, and Manufacturing volume requirements.
Development/ design mechanical parts (plastic & metal) for Charger, Power Supply Unit and Connector based on customer requirement; including making calculating of product dimensions, drawing sketches of product ideas, design and draw in 2D & 3D
Collaborate with other department and suppliers to develop a new project, new tooling and problem-solving from the development phase to mass production and provides technical skills in the in-house factory during.
Participates in the production engineering team to review & evaluation designing product, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, transfer production from HQ to Vietnam site
Follow up project &039;s process, performs testing an evaluate designs in prototype sample & final product, prepare development document for each project
Perform Design-To-Cost in the new and current product, analyzes materials, product&039;s structure & manufacturing process to evaluate and optimize cost

Above 3 years’ experience
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical.

Knowledge of injection mold/ die casting tooling design methodologies
Intermediate knowledge of the injection molding process preferred
History of injection mold design experience preferred
Two years extensive experience with PTC Creo or any 3D design software.
Experience in Plastic & Aluminum Product Design/ Development and understanding of advanced injection molding& die casting technologies and processes preferred
