Mechanical Sourcing Engineer

Continuous involvement in the supplier selection process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.
Perform other tasks assigned by the BOD/ Engineering Sourcing Supervisor/ Engineering Sourcing Manager.
Build RFQs from customer BOMs or sample, get pricing from suppliers and integrate pricing data into BOMs to reply timely to all quotation requests.
Proactive in reviewing current production Bill of materials and source alternative local suppliers for cost reduction and improved supply chain.
Develop relationships with suppliers to get their best support.
Report to Sourcing Engineering Manager.
Record and be able to retrieve all quotation data to help reduce the time to respond to RFQs.

Bachelor&039;s degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering, Materials Engineering;
Experience: From 2- 5 years of Purchasing or Sourcing experience. Be knowledgeable to resin, plastic injection or metal, casting, assembly process;
English: Intermediate or above reading/writing level, basic to intermediate speaking and listening. Strong communication skill;
Computer skill: proficient use of Excel;

Analytical skill;
High integrity.

Working time: Monday- Friday (8:00- 16:45)
Professional internal/ external training
Rotating Saturday 09 days/ year for 1st year. 08:00- 16:00 on Sat . From 2nd year onward it would be 06 days/ year.
