Mechanical Supervisor (Outsource)

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of fabrication activities into the overall project
Ensure all fabrication work meets the required quality standards, including dimensional accuracy and weld integrity.
Perform other tasks as assigned by superior
Monitor progress against project schedules and report delays or issues to the manager
Checking the documentation for approval and handover static equipment
Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports to the manager
Lead and supervise a team of welders, fitters, and other fabrication personnel.
Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Act as the point of contact between fabrication teams and external stakeholders, such as third- party inspectors or clients.
Supervise and coordinate daily fabrication activities for construction, including welding, assembly, and inspection.
Provide technical guidance, training, and support to team members.
Work with EPC contractor and its subcontractors to maintain overall project schedule.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures, especially for hot work and work at high.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of fabrication processes and materials received.
Ensure compliance with fabrication drawings, project specifications, and standards such as EN 14620 and other cryogenic tank design codes.
Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to address non- conformities and implement corrective actions.

Education: Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Welding Technology, or a related field.
Language: Proficiency in English is essential, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience: From 8 years of experience as a Mechanical Supervisor- Static Equipment preferably in engineering, oil & gas or manufacturing project
Highly technical skill:
Familiarity with industry standards such as EN 14620, ASME, and API codes
Proficiency in reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and engineering documents.
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent.
Proven experience in supervising fabrication/construction teams for large- scale projects.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques (e.g., TIG, MIG, Submerged Arc Welding) and materials used in cryogenic applications (e.g., 9% Nickel Steel, Stainless Steel).
