Medical Education
As a Medical Affairs Manager, main tasks would be focused on establishing and maintaining positive & fruitful working relationships with KOLs, HCPs & agreed stakeholder organisations, including patient organisations; Keeping the business up to date with latest advances and innovations in relevant categories & providing in- house training to key team members as required.
* Participate in educational and awareness activities (internally and externally): train internal staff and new clinical studies and any related medical knowledge
* Prepare report and tracking activities: the MSL submits timely reports of field and event and tracking activities against agreed objectives
* Acquire the required medical and product knowledge in the Baby and Adult therapeutic areas.
* Educate HCPs, arrange and conduct scientific meetings: CME lectures, workshops, presenting fair and balanced related disease area background, therapeutic options and clinical product data
* Provide proposals/ideas on promotional materials with Brand Product Managers
* Implement the pre- launch, launch and post- launch medical activities and monitor planning to ensure a successful launch of our new products.
* Handle and respond to all medical and products related information, inquiries and requests from internal colleagues as well as external HCPs, patients and customers with fair, balanced and referenced answers
Strategic Stakeholder/HCPs Management and Engagement
* Develop a complete understanding of national experts in the pediatric and adult areas and other related areas and the healthcare environment in which they work
* Contribute to strengthening KOL engagement plan and strategy in order to fine- tune and always improve our Medical Affairs plan by taking in account- specific KOL needs and expectations
* Regular coverage of KOLs/HCPs to administer/recruitment of patients/patients experience program
* Serve as a trusted partner in front of HCPs and other stakeholders
* Monitor the competitive landscape and feedback to internal stakeholders
Business Acumen
* Drive the program that would ease compliance with treatment
* By providing medical and scientific communication, the MSL should ensure that the HCPs follow a recommendation to patients

* Strong scientific and/or nutritional knowledge.
* Ability to translate nutritional and scientific information to different audiences
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
* Understanding of nutritional principles and their practical application
* Experience in clinical research and audit
* Educated to degree level in Medicine, Doctor, pharmacy or other relevant life science.
