• Be responsible for maximizing resort revenue by selling and coordinating meeting, conference, and social event space, as well as associated food and beverage services, ensuring a seamless and highly satisfied experience for all groups and event organizers.
TASKS CLARIFYING
• Maintain expert knowledge of the local market, competitor offerings, and industry trends to position the resort effectively.
• Participating training courses and meetings as demanded.
• Develop and execute targeted sales strategies for key market segments, especially corporate meetings and luxury social events.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned group and event clients from the initial inquiry through the event conclusion.
• Represent the resort at industry events, promoting the resort&039;s facilities and services.
• Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! Experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
• Actively track sales activities, maintain an accurate client database (CRM), and prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
• Finalize all event details, including menu selections, seating arrangements, audiovisual needs, and transportation logistics.
• Perform other tasks requested by the General Manager/Director of Sales.
• Conduct professional and engaging site tours of the resort&039;s facilities, rooms, and event spaces for prospective clients.
• Respond promptly to all sales inquiries, preparing detailed proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders (BEOs).
• Manage payment schedules and ensure timely collection of deposits and final billing.
• Negotiate room blocks, meeting space, and Food & Beverage minimums to achieve revenue goals and profit margins.
• Proactively solicit and secure new group business, conferences, meetings, weddings, and social events through networking, cold calling, site inspections, and industry trade shows.
• Coordinate effectively with the resort&039;s operational departments (Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Banquets) to ensure all client specifications and service standards are met or exceeded.
