• Take major responsibilities in managing Transportation, Bellman and Airport Representative team
• To create consistent SOPs to unify the work process for Transportation team including driver, bellman and airport representative.
• Periodically evaluate subordinates.
• Supervise Transportation operations including:
• Must be fully conversant with emergency evacuation and fire procedures and ensuring all uniformed staff are aware of these procedures.
• Ensuring that all equipment (trolley, etc....) are in proper condition and recorded properly.
• Especially supervise the preparation of VIP pick up and drop off in terms of vehicle arranged and VIP amenities
• Ensure that the surrounding areas at the lobby level and main entrance are clean.
• Be responsible for training supervisor, driver, coordinator, bellman and airport representative in their respective jobs (by identifying training needs)
• Be responsible for inspecting the vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
• Be responsible for ensuring all necessary precautions are taken to prevent damage and theft of the vehicle.
• To communicate with AFOM/FOM for all concerns; all accidents, no matter how seemingly inconsequential, must be reported to the AFOM/FOM immediately.
• Maintenance of vehicles
• To check the Transportation requests daily regarding airport transfers, site inspection and internal transportation requests
• Ensure that all guest’s baggage is received and delivered upon arrival and departure even for baggage storage.
• Be responsible for training Bellman, in their respective jobs (by identifying training needs)
• Maintenance of information about local events
• To ensure a strong and extensive knowledge of the local area
• To create a consistent traffic flow to ensure baggage of VIP’s and Melia Rewards Members are delivered promptly.
• To maintain appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform and appearance.
• To attend and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
• To maintain a record book for recording all matters.
• To maintain vehicle in a safe operating condition.
• Deal with serious complaints
• Supervise the transportation operation
• To ensure all interactions with guests/ staff are handled professionally and with care adhering to hotel policies and procedure.
• To check and inspect all the vehicles on daily basis. Report to AFOM/FOM in a timely manner.
• Be thoroughly aware of arrivals and departures of each day with emphasis on VIP’s, Melia Rewards Members and groups movements.
• Conduct daily briefing and to ensure that all uniform service staff are kept up to date, properly instructed and that all staff are properly dressed, neat and clean before start of duty. Similarly, staff appearance should remain clean, smart and tidy at all times.
• Ensure that all staff are fully informed and knowledgeable on hotel facilities and its surrounding areas.
• Works with superior in the preparation and management of the transportation’s budget. Duties include:
• Controls and monitors departmental costs on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budget
• Assists in co- coordinating the preparation of annual budget of Transportation related sections
• To perform other duties assigned by the Superiors.

• At least 2 years of driving experience.
• University Degree or above in service related major
• Valid Driving licence
• Vietnamese- Excellent level, written & spoken
• Driving license B2 and above
• English – Good level, written & spoken. APTIS B2 and above
