MEP Design Assistant Manager

Responsibilities
Planning and budget & schedule control
In charge of Mechanical, Plumbing, Electricity, Fire fighting for:
• Knowledge of construction investment procedures.
• Reviewing and developing the process of the feasibility study and providing advice on the management of projects.
• Preparing and developing the project plan & budget and specified time frames.
• Coordination with others for the goal of the project.
• Manage or coordinate with other consultants, designers, contractors, construction and related Authorities.
• Managing the planning and implementation of works.
Design management
• Assist Real Estate team in design changes due to customer requirements aligning with approval of competent managers.
• Manage the design of the MEPF system of the Design Management Department for all works under the Project or other jobs assigned by the manager.
• Manage the design consultants and coordination with other faculties to meet the Company&039;s development strategy and to obtain required licence and/or approvals.
• Ensure that the design meets the required quality and complies with regulatory requirements and corporate governance.
• Conceptualize all development design requirements, including preliminary check of suitability, layout, and specifications, and formulate design briefs to ensure that these aligned with the Company&039;s development strategy.
• Responsible for managing the design development process from inception to completion, including aligning with the budget and construction program.
• Actively lead and manage value engineering process where required.
Others
• Attend all project meetings and other meetings as required by the management team.
• Support Bidding & Contract team in evaluating technical solutions to select design consultants and contractors.
• Conduct site visits to ensure quality of work in complying with approved design document, specification, applicable standards and regulations.
• Any other duty that may be assigned time to time by Management.
