Key Responsibilities
Team & Workload Management
• Communicate management instructions to the team, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Monitor daily order processing and production activities, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth workflow.
• Review team workload and allocate tasks based on individual capacity, skills, and experience to ensure operational efficiency.
Production Management & Order Processing
• Schedule and lead production status meetings, ensuring timely distribution of Order Tracking Reports (OTR).
• Collaborate with cross- functional teams, supply chain partners, and subcontractors to proactively resolve issues and mitigate risks.
• Identify and troubleshoot challenges during order release, providing timely solutions.
• Follow up from order confirmation to garment delivery, ensuring adherence to agreed timelines.
• Oversee all merchandising and production- related activities, acting as the primary liaison between management, customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Manage daily correspondence related to material & input on time delivery to the factories and production management functions.
• Review material Balance Sheet and purchase request to ensure cost effectiveness and production lead- time.
Process Optimization & Risk Assessment
• Circulate weekly Open PO reports with subcontractors to maintain an updated order book.
• Conduct regular factory visits, reporting potential production delays or risks to leadership with clear findings.
• Review Internal Order Tracking Reports (IOTR) and Daily Production Reports (DPR) to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Track weekly shipments using Order Tracking Reports & Shipment Trackers, providing status updates to brand partners.
• Participate in risk assessment meetings and cross- functional discussions, ensuring follow- ups on key action points.
Training & Development
• Strengthen team communication and coordination skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Encourage knowledge sharing and problem- solving to improve efficiency in daily operations.
• Manage and evaluate team performance, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
• Identify skill gaps within the team and coordinate with HR or relevant departments to arrange necessary training programs.
Reporting & Compliance
• Ensure all required reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide regular updates to management on team performance, production status, and customer feedback.
Other
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Managing Director.
