Merchandiser/Product Develop

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Coordinate the third party material and garment testing.
· Introduce new designs in storyboard meeting, make actual garment samples upon approval.
· Build good working relationships with all our customer design/sourcing teams, internal & external suppliers.
· Create and maintain vendor manuals for shipping, packaging, and testing.
· Lead designing phase, research and analyse market trends to maximise business opportunities.
· Prepare merchandising sheet/BOM and tech pack after set approval; process owner for style clarity meeting and hand over style files to production merchandiser.
· Work closely with our business partner to build on initial concepts & make our designs price and lead- time competitive.
· Get to know market competition and the competitors in order to providing guidance and advise to clients.
· Monitor the entire product development process.
· Develop product development strategies to fulfill core customer&039;s needs.
· Plan to develop new designs, fabric, elastics & Trims for customer&039;s specification.

Qualification:
· Bachelor degree in Fashion, Economic, Supply Chain or relevant field.
Knowledge:
· Knowledge in luxury fashion brands is a preferable.
· Knowledge about R&D, Market Research, Sourcing.
Experience:
· At least 3 years of experience as similar role.
· Good network with Manufacturing, Vendor.
· Experience build product from A- Z.
Skill/ competence:
· Good skills in communication, research & typing skills.
·Creativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, and motivation.
· Microsoft Office proficiency is essential.
· Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
· Ability to work independently and in team situations.
