POSITION SUMMARY: This position involves: production schedules, optimizing resource, supply chain service function and order management
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production planning: Develop and implement production plans and schedules for the dyeing mill operations based on customer orders, inventory levels, and production capacity.
· Create the knitting batch no, dyeing batch no, finishing batch no and fabric test no.
· Tracking order timeline, make sure the orders can submit to customer on time.
· Once getting the order from customer, planning needs set the reasonable timeline for whole order process from yarn, greige, dyeing, finishing, fabric test report to end process in warehouse.
· Arrange and follow up order status for every batches with production site (yarn, knitting, dyeing, finishing, testing report)
Capacity and inventory control
· WIP, DCT control => production card data daily tracking
· Monitor production capacity and resource availability to ensure optimal utilization of equipment, manpower, and materials => meeting with related sites by weekly.
· Manage inventory levels of raw materials & DCA => meeting with related sites by weekly.
Coordination management: Maintain open communication channels with cross- functional teams, including production, procurement, maintenance, and quality control.
· Should coordinate with all related departments to ensure the orders is on the track, prevent potential problems occur and solve problem in time.
· Work with group Procurement team to get the material come is on time.
· Manage the relationship with Buyer and factory team in production issue, receive customers’ feedback and take appropriate actions to respond in a timely manner.
· Support higher managers to build the KPI and workflow for the team to ensure the team work effectively. Maintain record & report to the higher managers in an organized manner
Order management
· Provide coaching to subordinates to upgrade their product knowledge, merchandising skills and overall effectiveness
· Proactively lead the daily work for bulk fabric related activities
· Collaborate with cross function teams on orders related issues
· Subject Matter Expert for fabric dyeing, fabric printing and finishing, product safety and quality standards for relevant markets
· Support management to provide data as needed, including costing request, mill performance and capacity review
· Advance understanding of mill relationship management and communicate with global partners
· Ensure the team to maintain accurate and timely system records, utilize data to analyze and report any concern
