Purpose
This function will work with external consultants during the design phase but will then take responsibility for MES application support and assistance in training users.
The MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Support Consultant is responsible for ensuring overall Operation support of the IT applications & modules and mapping business requirements to system / technical requirement.
Responsibility
Preparing and maintaining system documentation;
Managing the incident management process from inception, escalation, resolution and closure;
Ensuring technical and functional standards are observed in line with Application best practice guidelines;
All enhancements and fixes are tested and deployed in accordance with NSRP’s policies and software vendor’s recommended procedures.
Ensuring stable business process continuation and improvement;
Ensuring appropriate user and system access within the current IT application landscape; All users are able to use the Applications for which they are authorized, at any location where they work, via the relevant interface and at appropriate and applicable agreed levels of availability, capacity, integrity, continuity, and security.
Providing proactive system improvement proposals in alignment with NSRP business process;
Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.
Providing application maintenance, production support services to the satisfaction of NSRP, according to the SLA/OLA between NSRP and the Service Provider, required to align with ITSM procedure and policy;
Developing training materials and conducting end- user training;
Responsible for operating with master data in NSRP IT system includes SAP / non- SAP and MES systems to ensure all systems work smoothly and effectively with consistency data which include creating, modifying, locking & destroying activities for master data area.
Handling problems related to all NSRP applications like SAP, non- SAP, MES systems include troubleshooting, monitoring, reconciling which are required to align with ITSM procedure and policy.
Acting as a conduit between NSRP and offsite support in ensuring that incidents and changes are managed in accordance with the respective operating procedures and comply with accepted audit controls and service levels;
Carrying out knowledge transfer to NSRP&039;s end- users and IT staff;
Participating in the various phases of solution testing and handover in order to facilitate post implementation support;
Providing application support in the form of configuration changes, solution customization, bug fixes, changes to application objects;
Working with technical teams of NSRP and support NSRP to resolve any issue arising.
