Mid/Senior Backend Developer (NodeJS/NestJS)

This is a full- time, on- site role for a Mid/Senior Backend Developer (NodeJS/NestJS) at Uniscore in Ho Chi Minh City. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server- side of the application, collaborating with the front- end developers, and designing databases. You will also be involved in code review and troubleshooting to ensure high- quality software development.
Responsibilities:

Participate in the complete software development cycle (requirement analysis, planning, implementation, code review, testing, deployment, operation, monitoring, etc.).
Backup source code, optimize security layers, and monitor server performance to handle high user loads.
Continuously listen to user feedback to find ways to improve product quality.
Develop new features requested by the Product Owner.
Research technologies and share knowledge with colleagues.
Work directly with the Product Owner and other IT developers to clarify requirements and propose solutions.

Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
Experience with API design: GraphQL, RESTful.
Experience in integrating APIs with third- party services (Google Cloud, Firebase, Payments, etc.).
Profound knowledge of servers, Nginx, caching strategies, HAProxy, and Varnish Cache.
5+ years of experience in back- end development.
Ability to scale an application to support millions of users.
Knowledge of CI/CD and proficiency in writing unit tests.
Familiarity with database services: PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch.
Proactive, honest, and committed to self- improvement.
Expertise in JavaScript, NodeJS (ExpressJS, NestJS).
Strong understanding of database design: SQL and NoSQL.
Eager to enhance technical knowledge and explore/adopt new technologies.
Experience in deploying NodeJS backend applications to servers.
