Mid-Senior Java Backend Developer Spring, English

We&039;re looking for an experienced Mid- Senior Backend Java Engineer to join our team. In this role, you&039;ll be a key player in designing, implementing, and optimizing our backend systems and services. You&039;ll work on complex distributed systems, contribute to architectural decisions, and help mentor junior team members, all while driving high- quality code and project outcomes.
What You&039;ll Be Doing

Team & Process Improvement: Actively identify opportunities for system optimization and process improvements. You will contribute to refining team culture, development workflows, and engineering best practices.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Collaborate with cross- functional teams (Product, Frontend, QA, IT) and provide mentorship and technical guidance to more junior team members.
System Design & Development: Lead the analysis and design of complex systems and API services. You&039;ll be responsible for the full development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
Code Quality & Maintenance: Write robust unit and integration tests to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our services. You&039;ll also participate in code reviews to maintain high standards and help colleagues grow.
Project Ownership: Take full ownership of project requirements, from clarifying ambiguities with stakeholders to decomposing projects into actionable tasks and coordinating with other teams.
Architectural Leadership: Design and implement distributed computing services and propose improvements to existing system architecture. Your insights will be crucial in areas like index strategies, query optimization, and Redis data structures.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.
Testing: Experience in writing effective unit tests is essential.
Tools & Technologies: Hands- on experience with Redis and familiarity with the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
Database Skills: Strong command of SQL syntax and an understanding of database normalization.
System Design: Proven experience in designing and implementing distributed services and applying design patterns.
Soft Skills: You should be a proactive problem- solver with a tenacious attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to articulate technical decisions clearly. Willingness to engage in pair programming is also required.
Proficiency: Deep expertise in Java, including the Spring Framework, and proficiency in Shell scripting.

The Details

Work Hours: Day shift, 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday.
Work Type: On- Site
Leave: Two days off per week (Saturday and Sunday).
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (no specific major required).
Management: This is an individual contributor role with no direct management responsibilities.
