Your Mission
This job refers to our Automotive brands. We are journeying to simplify our products and strengthen our technology stack through a large- scale rewrite. We’re building on a modern technology stack with Java, following best practices, and striving to build/measure/learn at a high cadence. Specifically, you will work on:

Work as part of an agile team:
Be the voice of QA during agile ceremonies. Autonomously drive the testing life cycle to ensure quality from medium to large- sized features while reducing the system&039;s tech debt or legacy issues in assigned projects
Actively participate in ticket refinement/grooming by bringing up unforeseen scenarios and use cases.
Collaborate with agile teams to ship valuable product increments.
Perform thorough functionality tests:
Conduct periodic exploratory testing in test environments.
Review acceptance criteria, developer notes, and design documents to formulate test cases.
Test domain- driven web referencing database- heavy back- end systems and check the consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems.
Be responsible for product quality:
Work with the engineering teams to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.
Provide inputs on high- level test scenarios, challenges, risks, resources, test estimates, etc., during test planning meetings.
Support Bug Triage process:
Track defects and help troubleshoot errors.
Report any bugs/defects found in a clear, friendly, and easily reproducible manner.
Keep track of incidents, and perform deep root cause analysis followed by recommended action items.
Reproduces bugs, isolates problems, and verifies fixes.

What will you bring to the ride?

4+ years’ experience in the same role.
Good hands- on experience in:
API testing using Postman for REST- based designs.
Testing UI responsive web application (preferably React).
Database testing (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and an Agile mindset.
Willing to take on new challenges proactively.
A pragmatic and proactive approach to problem- solving.
A strong sense of ownership and accountability for the product’s quality.

Nice- to- Have
Qualifications

Understanding of automation testing concepts or ability to do automation testing (e.g., Cypress).
Familiarity with security testing principles.
Basic scripting skills (e.g., JavaScript).
Experience with mobile testing (iOS and/or Android).
