Position Overall Description

As a Middle- Senior Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our backend services. You will work closely with cross- functional teams to build robust and scalable solutions, ensuring the highest quality and performance. Your experience in fintech and ERP systems, particularly within the insurance domain, will be invaluable in driving our projects forward.

Technical Development:

Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage containerization using Docker.
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using TypeScript, NodeJS, Express, and NestJS.
Ensure code quality and reliability through thorough testing using frameworks such as Jest.
Implement and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.

System Design and Implementation:

Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Develop scalable and maintainable system architectures.
Design and implement ERP systems, with a preference for experience in the insurance domain.

Agile Development:

Ensure timely delivery of features and fixes.
Continuously improve development processes and workflows.
Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand- ups, and retrospectives.

Problem Solving and Communication:

Collaborate in a team environment, offering and receiving constructive feedback.
Communicate effectively with team members, providing clear and concise updates and documentation.
Exhibit strong problem- solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools such as Jest.
Experience designing and implementing ERP systems, preferably in the insurance domain.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, with recent experience in the fintech space.
Strong experience with Git and GitHub.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
Strong problem- solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Proficiency in English.
Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Extensive experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, Express, and advanced knowledge of NestJS.
