Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mid- Level Back- end Developer to join our talented engineering team. As a Back- end Developer at Skindex, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the robust backend infrastructure that powers our revolutionary mobile app.
Responsibilities:

Mentor and guide junior members of the engineering team, fostering a collaborative and learning environment.
Participate in the development and implementation of best practices for code, documentation, and testing.
Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient back- end systems and APIs to support the Skindex mobile app.
Stay up- to- date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry standards in back- end development.
Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of the backend architecture.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including the Data Science and Frontend Development teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of features.
Optimize the performance, reliability, and security of the backend systems.

2- 4 years of experience in back- end development, with a strong understanding of software design patterns and architectural principles.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent problem- solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast- paced, agile environment.
Proficiency in Typescript, Nodejs and Python and its associated frameworks (e.g. Nestjs, Fast API..).
Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker, and their deployment workflows.
Hands- on experience with RESTful API design, development, and deployment.
Proficiency in managing AWS infrastructure. Familiarity with Google Cloud is an advantage.
Passion for the beauty and skincare industry, with a desire to contribute to its transformation through innovative technology.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross- functional teams.
Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, and experience in designing and optimizing database schemas.
