Position Summary:
As a Software Engineer, you are expected to have about 3+ years of experience in the Software Development across the full stack such as UI, API, Middleware, Databases, and Integrations. You will be part of the Product Team, working closely with Principal Software Engineers/Senior Software Engineers and Software Engineers on Implementing the technical design/requirements provided by the business.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
Follow FastTrack’s development practices and software development life cycle methodologies.
Investigation and suggestion of solutions to defects and problems that may have been detected during testing including troubleshoot, debug and upgrade to existing systems.
Assist in the research, implementation, and promotion of appropriate leading- edge technology for FastTrack360.
Design and build product deliverables according to requirements, escalates technical design or requirement issues to Principal Software Engineers, Product Managers and Business Analysts and works within a given time frame to complete.
Actively promote quality focused approach within the team showing ownership for QA activities and collaboration with the QA team.
Management of/contribution towards effective source control, ensuring isolation and ability to manage multiple branches.
Support the teams sprint deliverables, through proactive contribution to planning, ownership of tasks, identification of dependencies and basic risk management.
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Assist in improving training and development of the technical team.
