Mining Manager (Open to Expat)

 The successful candidate will need to put together a mine plan and execute the authorized plan. It will involve running both the mine and sorting plant, and potentially setting up a new mine all-together. The role is flexible and will grow / change as the company grows.
 Monthly budget reporting.
 Interaction and negotiations with suppliers.
 Manage and ensure proper people development in the department.
 Identify potential business risks and ensure processes are established to manage these appropriately.
 Extensive travelling with be required on a regular basis
 Ensure implementation and adherence to the Company&039;s Safety, Health and Environmental management programs and objectives.
 Both green- and brownfield projects will be in the pipeline
 Ensure integrity of mining expansion projects.
 Determine, implement, and monitor production strategies, activities, plans, reports, and schedules.
 Direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to mining standards, organizational standards, and legislative requirements.
 Interacting with the Geologists and technical experts so some basic understanding of geology would be preferable.
 Report structure: directly to the Managing Director and management board

 Extensive experience and understanding of mining in Asia is desirable
 Knowledge of relevant legislation.
 Ability to adapt style to work with different cultures.
 10+ years site based senior operational management experience within the resources or chemicals sectors
 Broad technical knowledge of open pit, underground mining operations and processes.
 Ability to create team synergy, manage diversity and promote a high-performance culture.
 Mine planning and analysis.
 Solid understanding of Mining Technology, Processing and Recovery.
 Strong planning, organisational and time management skills
 Financial and project management.
 Degree qualified mining professional or related majors
