Mobile Technical Lead iOS, Android, Kotlin, Swift

The team:
You will be part of our Digital Delivery Hub who are responsible for designing, developing and maintaining some of the most interesting and innovative digital apps within the financial services space that are at the forefront of the market. Our Hub is focused on building a world class User Experience, Design and Web / Mobile Development team that can work with the business to realise an exciting digital strategy.
The role:
You will be responsible for technically leading and coaching our engineers who work in cross- functional delivery teams to design and build best- of- breed mobile solutions whilst maintaining necessary support for ongoing products.
We are looking for a talented Mobile Technical Lead who still does hands- on development to contribute in the development and execution of an innovative mobile banking solution in Asia. This will include the development of in- country and cross- border solutions across all facets of a mobile banking operation including customer experience and design, developing and implementing new products and services, process engineering and other functional deliverable. Risk management and technology innovation will be essential for your success.

Work on addressing bugs and improving application performance.
Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of mobile developers, offering guidance and support to achieve individual objectives and deliver high- quality code.
Continuously research, evaluate, and implement innovative technologies to optimize development efficiency.
Collaborate with our technical leaders to establish a vision for our mobile engineering initiatives.Design and develop cutting- edge applications for Android and iOS platforms.
Design the architecture for new products and features.
Participate in the planning process for software development projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery.
Provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to mobile developers to facilitate their professional growth.
Work closely with cross- functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

Technical Skills:

Experience working on various mobile apps, preferably large- scale applications with multi- country targets.
Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery/continuous deployment.
6+ years of experience in Mobile Development.
Proven expertise in either iOS (SwiftUI and UIKit) or Android (Kotlin) development. While proficiency in both platforms is not mandatory, it will be a plus.
Familiarity with backend development technologies (E.g. APIs and databases)
Experience with Modularization and code artifact management
2+ years of experience as a Mobile Development Team Leader.
Experience with modern mobile architecture.
Having experience in KMP(Kotlin Multiplatform) development is a big plus.

Soft skills:

Ability to deliver convincing presentations that provide significant insight and generate consensus and buy- in.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including facilitation and negotiation.
Strong willingness to learn new practices and technologies.
Experience in working across several technical domains with the ability to ‘deep dive’ where required and ensure correct solutions are implemented.
Ability to translate technical talk to the business.
Excellent problem- solving and analytical skills.
Understanding and experience of Agile methodology.
Experience managing and leading a development team.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
