Model Based Development (MBD) Engineer

• Auto code generation using dSPACE Targetlink tool or relevant. AutoSAR configuration in Davinci tools or relevant and AutoSAR compliant code generation
• Generate automatic production code using EC/RTW/Target- link optimized for the product architecture.
• Investigate requirements and design solutions, generate value- addition by leveraging model- based- design in Automotive Technology Development Process.
• Software design with Enterprise Architect tool
• Integration of auto generated software with Application software.
• Perform Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) and model- based MIL/SIL/PIL/HIL validations for system functionality. Functional Test Cases preparation from requirements and coverage- based Test case generation from Model using tools like Simulink Design Verifier (SLDV).
• Perform expert level review, resolve and debug the model design issues, design challenges and ensure conformance of the model standards (AUTOSAR, ISO26262, MISRA) and guidelines.
• Implement automated testing tools to validate models through simulation and model checking.
• Perform plant modelling and controller development to prove- out new vehicle features and electronic functions.
• Test automation using m- ing language.
• Carry out mathematical modelling of physical systems and develop models with Plug and Play architecture.
• Requirement analysis & Model Based algorithm Development (MBD) using MATLAB, Simulink

• Experience in programming in C including thread synchronization, multithreading.
• Strong experience in product development using MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder/RTW and associated control system toolboxes, IBM, Rhapsody Doors/ ClearCase, Reactis, CANalyser, CANoe and dSPACE TargetLink etc
• Strong fundamentals in any of the following Automotive Functional Design, (Powertrain, Steering Control or Body Control Modules)
• Knowledge of MIL, PIL and SIL and automated test environment development
• Experience with Configuration and Change Management tools. GIT
• Knowledge of ISO26262, AUTOSAR, MISRA and MAAB Modelling guidelines
• Experience in embedded system
• Hands- on experience in design, simulation, and implementation of power electronic systems for power systems application
• B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA with first class and relevant experience in model based design and development
• Strong knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink based plant model development, algorithm and controller design and verification.
• Experience working in CAN/LIN/FlexRay/ETH Protocols, Vehicle Architecture and Diagnostics
Nice to have:
• Functional Safety Experience (ISO 26262)
• Overall understanding of automotive system
• ASPICE development process
• AUTOSAR platform
