Mold Design Engineer

This position will be provided shuttle bus from Vung Tau/ Bien Hoa/ District 2/ Thu Duc City to Nhon Trach Industrial Park (40- 50 minutes transportation to our Factory)

Perform DFMEA for tooling design and Lesson- learned knowledge database
Prepare tooling instructions as guideline to train the operators

Design and review tooling (layup, PCM, trimming, gluing, cooling, assembly) for manufacturing and prepare mold/jig request sheet
Trouble- shooting and problem- solving for tooling during manufacturing
Supporting any R&D activities/projects in technical department.
Change or optimize tooling to facilitate the end users and solve existing problems
Evaluating the feasibility of tooling for layup, PCM, trimming, gluing, cooling, assembly during RFQ
Working closing with process engineers and product engineers to solve problems of product development

Knowledge of GT&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is required.
Hands- on experience in a composites manufacturing environment is a plus.
A college degree in engineering or technology is required, with a bachelor&039;s degree preferred.
Experience with surfacing processes is preferred.
At least 3years of experience working as a design engineer in theplastic molding, stamping mold, or tooling manufacturing industry.
Proficiency in using NX andSolidWorksfor 3D molding, with a minimum of 2 years of experience, is preferred.
