Naval Architect - Engineering Boat

- The engineer needs to support the engineering team during a development project from the concept until the prototype testing phase.- The role creates stability, speed and performance reports according to the international rules and regulations (EN standards, class societies, etc.)- Being the contact person towards the external class society for technical clarifications regarding overall boat performance and justification.- The Naval architect supports the sales and application engineering department during the offering phase for the correct selection of the crane models.- Work on design projects (Lifeboats, rescue boats, workboats, special boats).- Design system operating principle drawings, coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to produce production drawings for spreading, Casco, welding and assembly.- Participate in improving product quality and increasing labor productivity

1 Skill and abilities- Total integrity strong knowledge of structural analysis of Boat design- Technical English, specialized language exchange (and/or communication english) Good- Reporting skill- Teamwork skill- Management and self- management 2 Personality- Attention to details- Creative and Innovative "Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily. 1 Qualifications- Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Technics, majoring in floating equipment, mechanics, and engineering. 2 Experience & knowledge- Minimum 3 years of work experience in technical roles within the mechanical engineering, ship and canoe building.- Proficient level of using the different calculation tools (e.g. Rhino / Orca / Others).- Familiar with product line management software- Understand the requirements of the quality management system- Good at mechanical design software (E.g. Inventor, Solid edge..)
