Naval Architect - Engineering Boat

- The role creates stability, speed and performance reports according to the international rules and regulations (EN standards, class societies, etc.)
- The engineer needs to support the engineering team during a development project from the concept until the prototype testing phase.
- Participate in improving product quality and increasing labor productivity
- Work on design projects (Lifeboats, rescue boats, workboats, special boats).
- The Naval architect supports the sales and application engineering department during the offering phase for the correct selection of the crane models.
- Being the contact person towards the external class society for technical clarifications regarding overall boat performance and justification.
- Design system operating principle drawings, coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to produce production drawings for spreading, Casco, welding and assembly.

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering / Technics, majoring in floating equipment, mechanics, and engineering.
Experience & knowledge
- Understand the requirements of the quality management system
- Familiar with product line management software
- Proficient level of using the different calculation tools (e.g. Rhino / Orca / Others).
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in technical roles within the mechanical engineering, ship and canoe building.
- Good at mechanical design software (E.g. Inventor, Solid edge..)
