Network Admin (Level 1)

Perform routine network maintenance tasks such as updates and patches.
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of networking equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Manage and support user accounts, permissions, and network resources.
Escalate complex network issues to higher- level support when necessary.
Monitor network performance and ensure network availability and reliability.
Provide first- level support for network- related issues, including connectivity, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Provide excellent customer service and support to end- users.
Document network configurations, changes, and processes for future reference.
Assist with network projects and upgrades as needed.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) and networking hardware.
Strong troubleshooting and problem- solving skills.
Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA) are a plus.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
