POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Network Design and Implementation:
• Deploy and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
• Design and implement network solutions that align with clients&039; business requirements.
Network Optimization:
• Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Implement measures to enhance network efficiency and reduce downtime.
Security Management:
• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary updates and patches.
Troubleshooting and Support:
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Provide timely and effective resolution of network- related issues.
Documentation:
• Create and update network diagrams to assist in troubleshooting and planning.
• Maintain accurate and up- to- date documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Client Communication:
• Work closely with clients to understand their network requirements and provide effective communication on project status and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify opportunities for network improvement.
Collaboration with Team:
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
• Collaborate with other departments, including systems administrators, security experts, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong problem- solving skills and attention to detail.
• Hands- on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking hardware.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of network security protocols and integration.
• Bachelor&039;s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience (3- 5 years) as a Network Engineer or similar role in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and security standards
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast- paced environment.
• High English language ability
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)/ CCNP or equivalent.
