Network Operations Center Lead

Provide technical guidance and support to team members and assist in their professional development.
Perform regular audits and assessments of VPN configurations and access controls to maintain compliance with security standards.
Handle both technical and non- technical communication with users with diplomacy and politeness to provide high levels of client satisfaction.
Collaborate with the engineers and third parties to resolve issues.
Track and document defects and resolutions through a designated ticketing system.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in VPN platform monitoring, system administration, networking, and cloud computing.
Monitor VPN infrastructure and network traffic for anomalies, performance issues, and security threats.
Escalate complex issues to management and other relevant teams.
Analyze events and respond to incidents promptly.

Capable of proper escalation of complicated issues to management, other IT resources, third parties and/or vendors, as appropriate.
Efficient at tracking and documenting all defects and resolutions in detail through a designated ticketing system.
Administrator, Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator) are a plus.
Ability to work in a Command Center environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, CASP, AWS Certified SysOps
Proven experience of at least 6 years as a NOC engineer and 3 years as NOC Lead Engineer, preferably in a VPN- focused environment.
Experience in using diversified tools to monitor performance and capability of network systems and working to triage or troubleshoot the issues within defined areas.
Good knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
Excellent problem- solving skills and attention to detail.
Solid understanding of security principles and best practices in network and system administration.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS, including EC2, VPC, IAM, and related services.
Good knowledge of VPN technologies and protocols (OpenVPN, IPsec, SSL/TLS, WireGuard, etc.).
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
