NPI Engineer

JOB SUMMARY
Follow up the qualification and improvement of new models, parts for consumer power tools.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow up the transfer of platic parts from PRC to VN from initiation till mass prodution release.
Provide support to project engineer as necessary.
Invovle in failure analysis activities, work with Engineering, SQE, suppliers for solution/improvement and follow up the implementation.
Work with multiple teams (engineering, quality, lab, supplier…) to test, evaluate and validate transfer components.
Facilitate project flow including regular contact with other functional team members.
Prepare all the product documents, i.e. Feasibility study report, CAD drawing, FMEA, FEA, Product Specification, etc for review.
Update engineering documents include CAD drawing, BOM, ECO, SER, etc. and follow up for review and release.
Work according to policies and procedures set by CPT.
Interact with suppliers to develop part/product specifications that meet performance requirements and ensure on time delivery.
Keep track project schedule and ensure the adherence to milestones; keep project leaders informed on project issues.

Good English, both verbal and written
Familiar with product evaluation and validation process.
Good at GD&T, 2D and 3D CAD (NX, ProE).
3- 5 years relevant working experience in Engineering field.
Familiar with product safety approval such as HSF, RoHS.
Bachelor&039;s degree in mechanical engineering.
Knowledge in Plastic injection molding.
