• Console/ Packing Assembly NPD Project Management:
Ensure proper management of suppliers of capital equipment for turn- key applications / custom equipment. Ensure proper management of cost, timing and budget of each project
Drive NPD builds with follow- up actions, including but not limited to Engineering Builds, Qualification Builds, and Pilot builds
Manufacturing, Production Scheduling, Quality, Supervision, and floor operators
Ensure proper agendas to facilitate and document project meetings
Ensure proper development of Gantt Charts, Project Schedule, Risk Assessment, and Contingency Plans
Drive, promote NPD meetings, co- lead with the Operations Team to develop and maintain manufacturing action plans for new tooling, equipment, and production scheduling needs
Ensure proper delivery of formal presentations to leadership regarding project status
Empower collaborative project communication channels with NPD, Engineering,
• Manufacturing Engineering Development
Ensure proper development of tooling, fixtures, and gages design
Ensure proper implementation of with GD&T, Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, and Control Plans
Lead automation and innovation course through technology co- research and development as well as engineering co- test and deployment
Drive major strategic cost, quality and delivery initiatives with aggressive focus on breakthrough process and technology improvements to achieve a substantial competitive advantage
Lead prototypes to confirm manufacturing time/cost estimates and test proposed manufacturing processes
Lead research, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes and capital equipment to improve current throughput, scrap/rework reduction, reduce cost, improve quality and improve reliability
Ensure proper management of equipment certification and run- off, using statistical analysis tools to verify process rate, capability and Gage R&R
Drive Continuous Improvement Projects in: Kaizen Activities, Visual Management, Value Stream Mapping, 5S, OEE, Work Instructions, Time Studies, Line Balancing, etc…
• Process Design Analysis and Continuous Improvement
Ensure proper performance of a wide variety of calculations and software aided analysis
Empower a systematic as well as creative approach to problem solving process
Drive well financial impacts of problem and solution
