Odoo Developer (Python, SQL, Agile)

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in the Odoo framework and Python, with a passion for learning and adapting to new technologies. You will work on a variety of exciting projects, ranging from manufacturing management systems to AI developments, in a hybrid and flexible work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in Agile development processes.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams to design and implement new features.
Stay up- to- date with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Develop, test, and maintain software applications using Odoo and Python.
Identify and fix bugs, and improve application performance.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience: 2- 3 years of professional software development experience.
Programming Languages
Fluent in Python (mandatory
Database Management
Experience with different databases
Fluent in SQL (mandatory)
Frameworks and Tools:
Integration of third- party applications (mandatory)
Design and implementation of Odoo themes and templates (mandatory)
Experience with Odoo customization and module development (mandatory)
Strong knowledge of the Odoo framework (mandatory)
Skills
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Eagerness to learn and quickly adapt to new technologies
Soft Skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Excellent problem- solving skills

PREFERRED SKILLS
Understanding of manufacturing processes and concepts.

Ability to interpret and analyze data related to manufacturing operations using SQL.
Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or other related software.
Experience with SaaS or PaaS solutions.
Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to MES, such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and cycle time.
Familiarity with production workflows, materials planning, and quality control within a manufacturing environment.
