BRITISH UNIVERSITY VIETNAM (BUV)
British University Vietnam (BUV) is the first and only international university in Vietnam to directly award British degrees from the prestigious University of London and Staffordshire University. BUV is rated a 5 Star university of excellence by the world recognized QS accreditor, and is also recognized with a University- wide accreditation from the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).

POSITION PURPOSE
The Officer, ICT Support is responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to IT systems, hardware, or software. They respond to queries, run diagnostic programs, isolate problems, and determine and implement solutions.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Provide technical support to users and resolve IT- related problems promptly.
Collaborate with other departments to understand IT requirements.
Implement and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and security.
Other tasks as assigned by line manager and the ICT management team.
Provide technical support for Academic and other departments in training, and event organization.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks.
Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.
Ensure the security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
