- Ensure all tables are setup according to the Oku standards and that service stations are fully stockedand ready for operation.
- You are able to provide beverage suggestion based on guest preference and you will be capable toperform a professional wine service as well as other beverage service.
- Acknowledge guests and remember dining preferences, allergies or intolerances as well as theirnames and preferred seating. You look for opportunities to positively surprise guests through smallor large gestures and acts of kindness.
- You have the knowledge to solve problems on the spot, but also knows when to ask for assistancefrom colleagues. Always follow up on guest issues and report occurred problems to the management.
- You remember and take orders without prompting, resulting in a seamless service delivery.
- Make sure the restaurant and the surrounding areas are spotlessly clean. You do this by followingcleaning checklists, but also by taking control and inspect the areas on a regular base.
- You oversee the amount of work and are pro-active in asking for assistance from colleagueswhenever required.
- You are responsible for recording orders through the Point of Sale system and actively monitorpreparation times in order to deliver food & beverage items within a timely manner.
- You personalize interactions within the service process, aiming to make each visit to the OkuRestaurant as memorable and unique as possible.
- You make guests feel welcome by always warmly greeting them and engaging guests throughmeaningful interaction, while also knowing when to be discreet.
- You know how to upsell quality products and use suggestive selling in order to complementproducts, resulting in a higher average spending and overall revenue increase.
- You responsibly handle cash and credit card payments, by carefully recording transactions in thePoint of Sale System, resulting in an accurate daily report at the end of the day.
- You have an outstanding product knowledge in order to guide our guests following potentialallergies and intolerances.
- Tailor menu recommendations to guests for both food and beverage items. You do this by genuinelylistening to the guest’s preferences, allergies or intolerances then making recommendationsaccordingly.
