JOB DESCRIPTION
ONLINE ENGLISH TUTOR (ADULT CLASSES)
PART- TIME
Salary: 500.000 VNĐ/ 2- hour lesson
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Location: 100% Remote
Teach 2–4 online classes per week (2 hours per class, small groups)
Plan and deliver learner- centred lessons aligned with course objectives
Assess learners’ progress and provide constructive feedback when needed
Support students through tutorials or guidance sessions when appropriate
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, QA, and the academic team
Contribute ideas to lesson materials, learner resources, or procedures
Participate in observations, training, and professional development
Help represent the quality and spirit of Flying English in class and, occasionally, on social platforms
Cover classes as needed and leave detailed notes for subs when absent
REQUIREMENTS
We’re looking for dedicated, growth- oriented individuals who can thrive in an agile, learner- centred environment. You should:
Education
C1 English proficiency (IELTS 7.5+) with at least 7.0 in Speaking- or demonstrate excellent real- life communication skills
Degree or formal qualification in Education, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field
Experiences
At least 1 year of experience teaching adult learners
Be able to conduct Diagnostic & Placement Tests and offer consultation- based learner support
Skills
Be tech- savvy- comfortable with online tools, LMS platforms, and digital content
Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence
Good organizational skills with a proactive and initiative- taking mindset
Stay up to date with ELT trends, resources, and learner behaviour
Familiarity with or willingness to learn about learner differentiation, diversity, unconscious bias, safeguarding, and data protection
Personality
Enthusiastic, positive, proactive, adaptable, collaborative and responsible,
Empathetic, honest and committed
Have a passion for English language education and a community- first mindset
