Job Overview
As a Credit Intern at Jenfi, you will play a pivotal role under the guidance of the Lead Credit Risk Analyst, contributing significantly to our credit underwriting and risk management functions. This position is instrumental in executing Jenfi’s tailored credit strategies for specific countries, ensuring seamless collaboration with sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to effectively evaluate new opportunities and mitigate credit risks.
What your day- to- day will look like:
Conduct customer visits across Hanoi to gather necessary information and documents.
Assist in developing and implementing country specific credit risk scorecards to standardize and localize credit evaluations of prospective companies.
Execute key underwriting activities, such as credit scoring and risk assessment, due diligence in accordance with Jenfi’s policy guidelines of prospective companies in the pipeline.
Provide recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk.
Responsible for the underwriting of loans involving alternate data which involves cash flow data related to banking and billing/payments data , financials and other data sources like marketing and credit bureau information
Continuously track and improve the Straight Through Decisioning Funnel, develop automated lending strategy, which seeks to continuously increase the proportion of decisions process automatically.
Present credit risk assessments to the credit team on a regular basis
Identify opportunities to improve the existing underwriting and credit analysis framework for the Vietnamese market, contributing to the evolution of the Credit Analysis Unit.Stay up to date on the latest industry and market trends.
Work closely with the sales team to coordinate information requests and follow ups with prospective companies.
Collaborate on technical matters with the product and engineering team to improve the automated data extraction and processing of various types of data and data sources.
Monitor and action on individual and portfolio level credit performance.
