The Lighthouse Social Enterprise (SE) is an organization that has been working to advance the Rights, Equity, Health, and Development of the LGBTI+ community in Vietnam since 2004. Our mission is to empower and build the capacity of communities to advocate for evidence- based rights and provide healthcare services for the integral health of the community. Role Description
Consulting and Supporting the Community:Provide accurate health information to the community, emphasizing proactive health care, HIV and STD/STI prevention, substance harm reduction, and mental health self- care.
Introduce and connect community members to health care services, especially related to HIV testing, treatment, HIV pre- exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), and post- exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
Offer free testing services, distribute condoms, lubricants, and harm reduction supplies to the community.
Compile monthly, quarterly, mid- term, and project summary data.
Monthly Updates and Data Management:Regularly update direct supervisors on work progress.
Criteria for Applicants:
Graduated from or currently enrolled in a university or college program related to Social Sciences, Education, Health, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in community outreach or health- related services.
Familiarity with substance use in the context of sexual relationships (Highfun) and the Highfun community. Preference for individuals with strong connections to the Highfun community.
Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a desire to contribute to the community.
Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexible working hours.
Strong communication skills, effective teamwork, and collaboration.
Proficiency in computer usage and office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
