Operation Bar Manager

• Meet projected sales target set out by bar owner
• Achievement of budgeted sales, costs and profitability.
• Work shifts required to meet the needs of the bar. This may include nights, weekends and holidays
• Source and train staff to best fit the bar&039;s needs
• Schedule staff in an efficient manner to best cover the demands of the customers
• Spend busy nights glad-handing customers to ensure their dining experience is the best.
• Attend frequent meetings with owner
• Assure all transactions and banking are conducted with no variance
• Communicate with vendors to assure the appropriate amount of products are on hand for the forecasted demand
• Resolve all staff conflicts swiftly and properly

Qualifications for Bar Manager
• A history of running a profitable business
• Current Mixologist education
• Knowledge or modern POS systems
• A familiarity with Quickbooks or other accounting based software
• Ability to perform projected financial forecasts to prepare appropriate business plans
• Male
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
• 8+ years in the Hospitality industry, particularly nightlife segment
• Submission to a background check
• Fluency in English
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Age: 35 – 45 years old
