The APAC region is the source of many of our ingredients, and we have deep relationships with farmers, supporting many in sustainability programs. At our processing facilities we are helping customers to respond to food and beverage trends across the region which are rapidly evolving. Our insights team tracks market trends to get the most relevant, targeted, and up- to- date consumer preferences. We are seeing unique flavor and color mashups including mocha cheesecake, and sweet and spicy stuffed snacks. With our ability to both source and innovate using our range of complementary ingredients, we can collaborate with our customers to create new, adventurous concepts that tap into these fast- moving trends. ofi in India aims to be the supplier of choice, from sourcing and processing to logistics and marketing.
Overview of the position
Post the successful completion of the 12- month period, the trainee will be moved into a Business Manager and Finance Manager role in the organization.
The Operation Management Trainee Program is designed for MBA graduates who have graduated in 2018 to 2024 and are keen to develop their careers in the Agri Supply Chain Industry.
The selected candidates will undergo 12 months’ intense training in business operations- Origination, Plantation, Processing, and functional modules- F&A to learn about the Agri supply chain industry sector. This will include the candidate getting oriented on products including Coffee, Spices, Edible Nuts, and support functions. Past the six months’ training, the candidate will work on live projects for the subsequent six months.
During the 12- month period, the trainees will be assigned mentors who will guide and coach the trainees. In addition, there will be structured reviews conducted to provide feedback on strength and development areas.
Requirement
· Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Two- year full Time MBA Degree is required for all OMTs candidates Business sector.
· Native Vietnamese and having proficiency in English both oral and written.
· Willing to be based in any of the operating locations of Olam Vietnam (very mobile).
· Must be a team player and able to work well with others.
