Operation Manager-Newly Established Food-Beverage FDI

Reporting to the Operations General Manager, based in Singapore, this senior position offers a broad spectrum of opportunity, scope, and authority.
Ideally, the candidate will be a self-starter, adaptive and motivated and would have gained experience of operating within a fast-paced multinational manufacturing environment of food-beverage industry.

- Work with the maintenance department to maintain a proactive equipment maintenance program.
- Forecast facility capabilities and determine optimum staffing model for the facility.
- Foster a cooperative work environment.
- Lead, guide, evaluate and develop a team of managers and ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained and managed.
- Prepare operational reports for management.
- Ensure compliance to Quality / Food Safety / Health and Safety systems and AVA regulations.
- Recommend to management production solutions and equipment needs.
- Oversee the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluate performance and make recommendations for personnel actions; motivate employees to achieve peak performance and productivity.
- Oversee day to day activities of the operational processes to ensure the products and services are produced efficiently, on time and within specification.
- Any ad hoc activities as requested.
- Work with management team to implement new or revised product, packaging, and procedures.

- Ability to provide technical guidance.

- Fluent in Vietnamese / English – both spoken and written.
- Bachelor’s degree, excellent knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures preferably in a food and beverage industry (minimum 5 years’ experience).
- Excellent organizational, planning, analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze and interpret operational data, prepare reports, and propose recommendations.
- Program planning, development, implementation, and leadership skills.
