Staff Supervision

Keep the Operations Manager continually informed of staff performance; report issues that might affect the team’s performance
Ensure good communication flow within and across a team
Monitor staff performance for work standards and efficiency
Influence and/or recommend hire/fire and staff compensation decisions; conduct annual performance reviews
Assist the Operations Manager to encourage and motivate staff to achieve high performance
Assist to train new staff (according to the requirements of the Operations Manager)
Set positive examples

Assist Operations Manager

Assist the OM to resolve operations problems
Assist the OM in monitoring the CFS warehouse’s performance
Assist the OM to provide regular reports to management
Assist the operations manager to assign teams, establishing work processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Assist the OM to handle special projects and new customer start- ups

Operations Supervision

Monitor staff’s daily performance, oversee day the to day operations, help resolve problems, and assist staff with difficult issues. Report important issues to the OM
Ensure staff provides quality customer service
Ensure work processes (data, documentation) of the operations group effectively meet the company’s internal financial/accounting requirements
Maintain strong knowledge of shipping operations; keep customers up to date on any important information relative to their business
Assist staff in correctly interpreting and executing customers’ instructions and working procedures
Ensure team assignments and work processes are designed to best achieve this quality customer service
Monitor staff performance against management standards (e.g. FCR issuance, doc dispatch, etc.)
Communicate promptly and professionally with vendors/agents /suppliers in Hong Kong, China, or overseas
Assist staff are necessary to coordinate bookings/shipments with vendors, carriers/forwarders, and consignees

Degree in Logistics/ Transport Management/ Supply Chain or equivalent
2- 3 years of relevant experience in the Freight Forwarder Industry. Supervisor experience is preferred
Good command in English, familiar with PC knowledge (Word, Excel & Outlook)
A good relationship with co- loaders and carriers, self- Initiative, detail- oriented, team player. and being able to think comprehensively and work under immense pressure

- Year- end bonus (1- 2 months salary) depending on the company&039;s business performance.

- Bonuses on March 8, October 20 (for female employees), holidays on April 30, September 2, New Year, Mid- Autumn Festival. Bonuses range from 500,000- 3,000,000 depending on the holiday.
